NRA won't tell members owning a gun doesn't really help.

What the NRA can't explain about their so-called self-defense use of guns ... is that if the bad person is wearing a uniform, civilian or military, owning a gun will not protect you. In fact, if you have the misfortune to come in contact with either uniform, you are 99.9% likely to become a statistic listing you as either D.O.A. or K.I.A. with the reason given: 'An imagined gun.' So a real gun wouldn't have helped you, but instead would have simply expedited your unauthorized, until after the fact, premature demise by a NRA-GOP sanctioned weapon of choice: GUN. Making that ownership more dangerous to you than not. With neither having anything to do with the Republican crutch amendment; we all know as the 2nd; or the one that follows your 1st amendment right to be free & safe while out in the public domain for 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year.
